Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based trauma therapy that accesses the deepest regions of the brain where clients store their traumatic experiences and survival terror. This access to the mid-brain and the brainstem allows deep transformation to occur. It works by identifying, processing and releasing the core neurophysiological sources of trauma. The symptoms of unprocessed trauma include emotional and body pain, dissociation, anxiety, insomnia, flashbacks, numbing, addiction, disconnection and other challenging symptoms. These symptoms are notoriously difficult to

eliminate through talk therapy because verbal engagement does not reach the deep regions of the brain (and body) where the traumatic experiences are held so they cannot heal. Brainspotting is becoming one of the most sought after therapeutic modalities and is a great practice builder.

Requirements and Expectations:

  1. If you are unable to adhere to these requirements please do not register for the training.

  2. 100% attendance is required for each day.  This means it is not acceptable to leave the training for a few hours to go attend another meeting etc and then return to the training. If you are unable to attend 100% each day then do not register for the training.  Please do not plan to register and then send me an email that you have something that cannot be moved so you will miss 2 hours of the training.  This will result in a denial to attend the training, a refund and most likely I will not permit you to attend any future trainings that I conduct and/or organize.

  3. In case of an emergency, I am happy to provide a prorated refund of your registration fee and you can take the training in the future.

  4. I realize we are still very much in a pandemic and sociopolitical issues which have caused strain in many areas to say the least.  However, this remains a Brainspotting training.  If you are not able to be fully present for whatever reason(s) please do not register for the training.  This training is highly experiential and REQUIRES your full attention and presence.  The inability to be fully present adversely impacts other attendees during experiential practicums. Opting out of practicums is NOT permitted.

  5. If you become ill during the training and are not able to be fully present I am happy to provide a prorated refund.  Just observing is not permitted.  All aspects of the training must be completed with full participation in order to receive a certificate of completion.

  6. As a reminder, CEs organizations do no permit CEs for trainings restricted to BIPOC professionals.

  7. By registering for this training you agree to the requirements and expectations
