Collaborative & Supportive Learning Environment
A collaborative and supportive learning environment. After each experiential, an extensive debrief will occur. This provides the opportunity for in depth discussion, questions to be asked and answered with the opportunity for integration of advanced Brainspotting practices and theory via the Neuroexperiential Model.
Pathway to Brainspotting Certification
A pathway to Brainspotting Certification. The Brainspotting Intensive can be used in lieu of the minimum 6 in person or online synchronous consultations requirement. All other certification requirements must be met as well. The certification process must be completed with the same Brainspotting Intensive trainer.

Brainspotting Intensive Overview
The Brainspotting Intensive was designed by David Grand, PhD, founder and developer of Brainspotting, to provide the ultimate learning experience for Brainspotting practitioners.
Development. Over the years, the Brainspotting Intensive has expanded into a combination of a masterclass in learning and practicing Brainspotting at an advanced level, focusing on the Dual attunement Frame and integration of the Neuroexperiential Model. It also includes the opportunity for deep healing of the healer.
Registration is capped at 10 participants. The schedule is five full consecutive days of Brainspotting. There are ten experientials or free form Brainspotting sessions. Two each day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Experientials are in the center of the group, with each participant being “the therapist” once and “the client” once. These are not demonstrations, and there are no practicums.
The Process. The trainer and “the therapist” sit side by side. The trainer works directly with “the client” in the most technically advanced, attuned, and innovative Brainspotting processes. The “therapist”, through the Dual Attunement Frame, engages in being present with “the client” in the most attuned manner.
Prerequisites. Completion of Brainspotting Phase 1 and Phase 2.
Certification. If certification is being pursued the additional certification
requirements must also be met.
Learning Objectives

Assess their mastery of Advanced Brainspotting principles, values, knowledge, and skills.

Demonstrate their knowledge of Brainspotting theory and practice as outlined in the Brainspotting Certification process and requirements.

Apply advanced Brainspotting theory and practice across a variety of clinical presentations.

Evaluate the impact of limbic countertransference and transference that occur during the practice of Brainspotting.
Experiential Debrief
Each experiential session is debriefed extensively in the context of the intimate, collaborative, and supportive group. To enhance the learning process, the debrief includes the following, but limited to:

Relational Attunment
Establishing a connection and relationship with the client within their cultural context.

The development of the Frame, Focus, plus Arc of the session.

Finding a Brainspot
The Art and Science of Finding a Brainspot i.e. Outside Window, Inside Window, Gazespot, One Eye, Body Resource, Advanced Body Resource, etc.
